Ronald Lee Craig Jr., age 51 of Defiance, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Mercy Defiance Hospital. He was born on September 14, 1972 to Ronald Lee Sr. and Frances (Fultz) Craig in Bucyrus, Ohio. On December 15, 2010 he married Jessica Best, who survives. Ron worked at several factories in the area. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing pool and board games, and riding his motorcycle. Ron will be missed by his family and many good friends. Ron is survived by his wife Jessica Craig, his parents, Ronald and Frances Craig of Paulding, OH, his children, Kay Oehler of Defiance, Nikole Gribble of Toledo, OH, Ronald (Octaven) Craig III of Paulding, OH, and James Craig of Defiance. four grandchildren, and his siblings, William (Cathy) Craig of Lima, OH,  Kerry (Mike) Geiger of Bryan, OH, Erin (Jerry) Collins of Paulding, OH, and Heather (Lloyd) Kenner of Defiance, OH. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Craig. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Schaffer Funeral Home. A Memorial services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Pastor Bobby Branham officiating. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with expenses.
