Ron Schindler Ron Schindler, 50, of Oklahoma City, and formerly of Defiance passed away suddenly Sunday, July 3rd, 2011 at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born in Defiance, Ohio on June 26, 1961, he was the son of the late John J. and Rosie E. (Dubaugh) Schindler. Ron worked as a machine operator at the Sarah Lee/Wonder Bread Co. in Oklahoma City, for about 25 years. Surviving are his former wife Sandra of Oklahoma City. daughter: Alora (Ricky) Peterson of Oklahoma City, son: Ryan Schindler of Oklahoma City. Sister: Judy (John) McGill of Bryan Brothers: Richard (Sandra) Schindler of Defiance, Robert Schindler of Lake Seneca, Oh., Howard Schindler of Tacoma, Washington. Grandchildren; Joel and Jayce Peterson. His special babies, dogs Zoe and Chi Chi. Preceded in death by his parents and a sister Evelyn Lewis. Visitation will be Sunday, June 10, 2-8 p.m. at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, Oh. Private Graveside Services will be Monday at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance.
