Roland "Bo" H. Mansfield, 69, of Defiance, passed away on  Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Twin Rivers Care and Rehabiltation Center.

He was born on May 2, 1944 to Albert and Helen (Martin) Mansfield in Defiance.  On May 29, 1967 he married Loretta (Mays) Mansfield.

Bo retired from the Campbell Soup Company in 2007.  He was a member of the Campbell Soup Retirees. Bo loved working on cars, fishing and going to auctions.  He also coached baseball for the Schultz Plumbing team.

Bo is survived by his wife, Loretta, sons, Brian Mansfield of Defiance, Roland Mansfield II of Defiance, grandchilden, Jazlyn Mansfield and Roland Mansfield III.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Charles Blane Mansfield, &  Riley Milburn Mansfield, brothers, Clifford, Russell, Leonard, Gale, Walter, Victor, Albert & Ernest Mansfield, sisters, Laura Swihart, Mildred Retcher, Viola Hamm, Ann Marie Mansfield and Betty Lou Hill.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Schaffer Funeral  Home, Defiance, with Rev. Max Begley officiating.  Visitation is from 9-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

The family suggest memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
