Robert E. "Bud" Weisenburger Mr. Robert E. "Bud" Weisenburger, 83, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away at 11:15 P:M , Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. He was born in Defiance, Ohio on December 18, 1928, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Figley) Weisenburger He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II. He married Gloria Jean (English) Weisenburger on Nov. 18, 1948 who survives. He retired as the superintendent at Birkmeier Monuments, Delphos. Ohio and also had worked for many years at the National Stone Company in Defiance. He was a member of the Defiance VFW Post #3360 and the AMVETS Post 1991. Besides his wife Gloria surviving are Daughters: Debra A. Weisenburger and spouse Robert E. Lipetz of Columbus, Ohio, Brenda K. Weisenburger of Columbus, Ohio(spouse Karl Muenstermann deceased) Sister: Mary Lee Gibson of Defiance, Sally (Jim) Sowers of Ft. Wayne Brother: Jack (Darlene) Weisenburger of Ayersville, Ohio Preceded in death by son in law: Karl Muenstermann, brothers: Ross Weisenburger, Tom Weisenburger, sisters: Betty Kuyers, Norma Hohenberger and Nancy Yaw. Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 3:00 P:M on Tuesday, April 20th, with Rev. Cindy Berkshire of White Lily Chapel officiating. Visitation is Tuesday 1-3 at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. Military services by VFW Post # 3360 will be at 2:45 P:M Tuesday. Preferred memorials are to the White Lilly Chapel.
