Roberta R. Greenler Roberta R. Greenler, 71, of Defiance, passed away Thursday, December 11th, 2014 at her home. She was born in Defiance, Ohio on November 22, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie (Shafer) Grimes. In 1961, she married James R. Greenler Sr. who survives. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and a homemaker. Roberta loved many things, especially her family and angels. She was the mother of three children, daughter: Tammie (Ken) Meroney of Iron Station, North Carolina, sons: James (Jennifer) Greenler Jr. of Fremont, Indiana, Jeff (Vicki) Greenler of Bryan, She will also be missed by her sisters: Annabelle Cramp of Angola, IN, Sue Feeney of Ayersville, Kathleene (Jerry) Musser of Angola, Katherine Grimes of Florida, brothers: Richard (Sue) Grimes of Defiance, William Grimes Jr. of Angola She was grandma to 6 grandchildren, Natasha Greenler, Ryan Greenler, Morgan Greenler, Wade Meroney, Brittany Greenler and Mykenzi Greenler and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at St. John Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15th, with Rev. Donald Luhring officiating. Friends are invited to call Sunday 6-8 p.m. at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home and Monday 10-11 a.m. before the services at St. John Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens.
