Robert C. Zeller Jr, age 78 of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at his residence in Defiance, Ohio. He was born on March 19, 1944 to the late Robert and Virginia (Seibel) Zeller in Defiance. Robert was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Denison University. After retiring from his role as President of Zeller Corporation in the late 70s, he owned and operated Zeller Arabians, a premier horse ranch in Phoenix, Arizona. Rob had a deep interest in history, He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his animals.

Robert will be sadly missed by his daughter, Betty Heim (Cornelis Van Elk) of Phoenix, AZ, three grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and two brothers; Mark (Debbie) Zeller of Bowling Green, OH, and Kevin Zeller of Defiance. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia Zeller, his son, Richard Zeller, and his sister, Melissa Zeller. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 am on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Defiance. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at the church, with Fr. David Cirata officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
