Robert L. Deitrick Robert L. Deitrick, 77, of Defiance, passed away Friday, November 16th, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne. He was born in Defiance, Ohio on August 27, 1935, he was the son of the late Joseph and Georgiabell (Link) Deitrick. He was a lifetime member of St. Mary Catholic Church and served in the U.S. Navy. Bob worked at Leever Glass Defiance for 45 years. He also owned and operated Dietrick Upholstery. He was a member of the Defiance Prop Floppers and a big Cleveland Indians fan. On Sept. 29, 1956 he married JoAnn Hostettler, who survives. He will be greatly missed by his wife JoAnn, daughters: Diana (Ron) Emerling of Defiance, Deborah (Ted) Martinez of Defiance, Darlene (Troy) Pearson of Greensboro, NC son: Robert J.(Stephani) Deitrick of Defiance 7 grandchildren: Danielle, Angie, Joseph, Bianca, Nick, Remick, Jamie and 7 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by three brothers Richard, Ronald and Randle Deitrick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Mary Catholic Church, Defiance, Oh. at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20th, with Father Randy Giesige officiating. Visitation will be Monday 3-8 at Lawson-Roessner with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service Monday. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens.
