Robert Lee Comden II, 53, of Defiance, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2015 at the Bryan Community Hospital, with his family by his side.

He was born on November 16, 1961 to Robert and Beverly (Wheeler) Comden in Bryan, Ohio. He graduated from Fairview High School as part of the class of 1980. Rob most recently worked as a Break Press Operator for Defiance Metal Products and previously worked at Defiance Hospital.

Rob is survived by his mother, Beverly Comden of Ney, OH, daughters, Brittney Comden of Defiance, and Kimberly (Clint Hoskins) Comden of Burlington, Kentucky, granddaughter, Adilae Comden, siblings, Christine Comden of Ney,  Debra Comden, of Ney, OH, Ron (Mary) Comden of Defiance, Pam (Scott) Reeb of Stryker, and a nephew, Joshua Reeb.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Comden, beloved Aunt Judy & Uncle Dick, and recently his close cousin, Charles Comden.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at the Schaffer Funeral  Home, Defiance, Ohio, with Rev. David Brobston, officiating. Burial will follow at Ney Cemetery.
