Rita L. Wolfrum, 68, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born on November 15, 1955 to the late Thomas and Janet (Meyers) Revis. Rita married John Wolfrum on August 27, 1979.

Rita is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, John; children, Daniel (Tara) Wolfrum,  Bradley (Julie) Wolfrum, Katherine (Jerard Allen) Wolfrum and Amy Wolfrum; grandchildren,  Aerien Wolfrum, Carter Wolfrum, Kolton Haines, Caroline Wolfrum and Claire Wolfrum; siblings,  Ruth (Larry) Small, Ron Revis, Thomas (Dana) Revis and Rebecca (Revis) Henrichs. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Raymond Revis, Roberta (Revis) Koeller and Regina Revis, as well as her in-laws, Ralph and Martha (Flory) Wolfrum.

Rita was a hard worker and dedicated her life to her marriage and family.  She enjoyed being outdoors, spending time at the lake, watching her children and grandchildren grow and supporting her corn hole family. Rita showed incredible strength and resilience in her battle with cancer. Her courage and determination were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the funeral home, with an hour of viewing prior to services. Rita will be laid to rest at St. Stephen Lutheran Cemetery.
