Rilo Matthew, beloved son of Joey Schramm and Lorice Steel, and little brother to Wren, passed peacefully in his sleep on July 25, 2024. He was born May 17, 2024.

Even though his time here was short he will forever live on in all of our hearts. A beautiful happy baby boy that touched so many lives in such a brief time. We will forever remember how precious life is. Rilo is survived by his parents, Joey Schramm and Lorice Steel, and his big sister Wren Schramm. Also surviving are several sets of grandparents and great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and very close friends that are considered family. His organs were donated so others may have the gift of living.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family.
