Richard D. Sheffel, 57, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in Defiance, Ohio. He was born on August 23, 1958 to Richard and Marjorie (Dible) Sheffel in Verona, Pennsylvania. Richard worked as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cloverleaf Design Group in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed golfing. Richard will be sadly missed by his mother, Marjorie Sheffel of Murrysville, PA, his former wife and friend Gina Sheffel of Defiance, their three children Sheri Sheffel, Mara Sheffel, and Ricky Sheffel, all of Defiance, brother, Bruce Sheffel of Grove City, PA, and twin sister, Leslie Hood of Murrysville, PA. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Sheffel. Calling hours will be held at Hart Funeral Home in Murrysville, Pennsylvania on Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance handled local arrangements. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
