Rebecca J. Holcombe, 40, of Defiance, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. She was born on September 1, 1974 to Richard and Deborah (Carder) Holcombe in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Rebecca worked at the Meijer Store in Defiance in the bakery, and stocking Rebecca is survived by her father, Richard (Linda Martin) Holcombe of New Jersey, mother, Deborah (William) Miller of Oakwood, fiancée, Armando Acevedo of Defiance, sons, Dillon Gasinski, Evan Holcombe-Larson, Steve Acevedo,and  Aiden Acevedo, daughters, Cristina Acevedo, Ashley Acevedo, and Elizabeth Acevedo, grandchildren, Anija Acevedo, Charity Kochel, Avery Acevedo, and Landon Acevedo all of Defiance, brothers, Richard Holcombe, Jeff Holcombe, and sister, Samantha Holcombe, all of Pennsylvania, many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and grandmother, Evelyn Gehringer of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles W. and Laura Jean Carder. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 13, at St. John Lutheran Church, Defiance at 1:00 pm with Rev. Donald L. Luhring officiating.   A luncheon will follow. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice. Online
