Obituary

Raymond David Moser, 81, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born on October 15, 1936 to Berthold and Lillian (Bidlack) Moser in Defiance County. Raymond served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. In 1969 he married La Vinna (Miller) Moser, who preceded him in death in 2016. He worked at Campbell's Soup Company in Napoleon.  He enjoyed racing and NASCAR, and fishing in the ocean. Raymond was a member of the Volunteer Fire Department in Murrell's Inlet, SC.

Raymond is survived by his stepdaughters, Brenda Lee Kohli and Julie (Dr. Bruce) Sliney, all of Mansfield, OH, stepson, Dr. Brian (Robin) Snyder of St. Charles, MO, eleven step-grandchildren, six step great-grandchildren, and sisters Diane and Dee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, LaVinna, and his sister, Sharon.

A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
