Raymond  DeLeon, Jr., 52, of Defiance, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, February 3, 2017.

He was born on April 6, 1964 in Morton, Texas, to Gloria (Ysasaga) Ramon and Raymond (Chris) DeLeon, Sr., who survive him. Following his graduation from Defiance High School in 1983, he moved to Texas and remained there until he moved back to Defiance in 2015. He enjoyed tejano music, and played in the Cierra Band in Texas, and he also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving are his parents and four brothers, Rey DeLeon of Defiance, Christopher DeLeon, Gilbert DeLeon, Steven (Holly) Ramon of Indianapolis, Indiana, Joseph Ramon of Stryker, and Adam Ramon of Defiance,

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at St. John Catholic Church, with Fr. Eric Mueller officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens.
