Ramona 'Jean' Derricotte, 86, passed away Monday, October 30th at her home in Moreland Hills, Ohio.
Beloved wife of Raymond of 66 years, and loving mother of Ramona (Don) Slocum; Raymond 'Chip'; Susan (Joe) DiNardo; Schon (Michelle); Laura (Peter) Chapman; Charles 'Chuck' (Christine); Thomas (Danding); and Tamara (Joshua)  Watts.  Grandmother of Cortnee (Kimani), Danielle (Jeff), Christopher, Lauren, Audra, Devan, Shane, Joey, Olivia, Jayden, Lucas, Brady and Isaac; Great grandmother to Mason, Layla, Maxwell and Giovanni.
A longtime resident of Defiance, until relocating to the Cleveland area to be near her children, Jean lived her life for her family, and had a passion for children, her own and others.  She loved deeply, and she was deeply loved.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 10th at 11:00 am, at First Baptist Church, 1399 Jefferson Avenue in Defiance. Schaffer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
