Ramona 'Mona' B. Wirick, 80, of Defiance, passed away Saturday, December 26th, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee, Lucas County, Mrs. Wirick was born in Sherwood, Ohio on September 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Augusta Ruth (Miller) Bair. Mona was the broker/owner of Osborne Realty which she started with her husband, Cecil who preceded her in death. In 1976 she married Kenneth Wirick with whom she continued Osborne Realty. She loved to knit and crochet and loved to read. She was an avid gardener and her home reflects that love. Ramona will be sadly missed by her husband, Ken, stepdaughters Carol (Bill) Corney, Cathy (Dave) Fuller and step daughter in law Ellen Kreider. Also by her grandchildren and step grandchildren: Matthew Osborne, Jamie (Catherine) Grunden, Joe (Lori) Grunden, Kendra (fiancé William Harris) O'Hara and Katherine (Gavin Farnsworth) Wirick, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Cecil Osborne, son Scott Osborne, step son David Wirick, sisters: Shirley Leatherman, Mildred Tipsword, Helen Irwin and a brother Donald Bair who died in infancy. Services at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30th, with Deacon Jeff Mayer officiating. Visitation is Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Lawson-Roessner. Burial will be in Brunersburg Cemetery. Suggested memorials are to the Donor's Choice.
