Ralph L Grennay age 70 of Defiance, Ohio passed away Sunday June 24, 2012. He was born in Jackson, Michigan on December 5, 1941. He was the son of the late Fred and Trindad (Flores) Grennay. Ralph was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a U.S. Army Veteran serving with the 82nd Airborne. He was a life member of VFW Post 3360 and AMVETS Post 1991. He was also a member of the Defiance Eagles. He had worked as a millwright at G.M. Central Foundry/Powertrain in Defiance for 38 years retiring in 1994. Ralph married Marietta Fouty January 17, 1963 and she survives. He will sadly be missed by his loving wife Marietta He is ALSO survived by: Daughters Lisa (Mark) Millenbach of Hudsonville, Michigan Kimberly (Buddy) Nichols of Defiance Sons Ralph "Poncho" (Jackie) Grennay Jr. of Defiance Jean Paul Grennay of Defiance Sisters Winnie (Ron) Wysocki of Jackson, Michigan Rita Grennay of Jackson, Michigan Fran (Dick) Savicki of Plan Well, Michigan Patty Whitney of Jackson, Michigan Brothers John (Arvilla) Grennay of Jackson, Michigan He is also survived by Rudy and Hope Flores. He was preceded in Death by a brother William Grennay Services will be held Thursday at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 2:00 PM. Officiating will be Deacon Jeff Mayer. Friends are invited to call from 12:00 - 2:00PM Thursday at the Funeral Home. VFW Post 3360 will conduct Military Rites. Suggested memorials are to the family.
