Ralph Ciccotelli, 81, of Defiance, passed away on  January 2, 2016 at Twin Rivers Care & Rehabilitation Center, Defiance. He was born on June 3, 1934 to Angelo and Delphine (Balagna) Ciccotelli in Detroit.  On June 26, 1954 he married Halina Dudzinska. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Defiance.  Ralph loved his family and all the time spent together.  He enjoyed square dancing, traveling, and camping. Ralph was an incredible handyman. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Halina Ciccotelli, children, Darlene (Ken) Moore, Oxford, Michigan, Randy (Kim) Ciccotelli, Shelby Twp., Michigan, Susan (Jeff) Morris of Braselton, Georgia, David (Marcella) Ciccotelli, Defiance, daughter-in-law, Janet Ciccotelli, Altamonte Springs, Florida, nine grandchildren, one step grandchild, three great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, and brother Gerald (Carol) Ciccotelli of Brownstown, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Richard Ciccotelli, great-grandson Jacob Jones, and sister Alice Smoll. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January  6, 2016, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016, 12:00 noon at St. John Catholic Church, Defiance with Fr. Eric Mueller officiating.
