Rafaela V. Murillo Rafaela V. Murillo, 91, went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday, January 17th, 2017 at Vancrest of Holgate. She was born in Elsa, Texas on January 4, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Andres and Anilia (Villarreal) Villarreal. She was the widow of Santiago G. Murillo. She was a homemaker, a wonderful hostess, enjoyed cooking and serving family and friends. She was very innovative in the home, liked reading, sewing, gardening and canning. Rafaela enjoyed all her grandchildren. She will be missed by her daughters: Maria (Robert) Howell of Bellevue, MI, Isabel Murillo of Henderson, Nevada, Geraldine (Efrain) Hernandez of Holgate, Pennie (Ralph) Beccia of Las Vegas, NV, Theresa (John) Rodriguez of Wauseon, Anita (Tony) Cruz of Defiance, Rafaela (Carlos) Estrada of Stryker sons: Santiago (Becky) Murillo of Perrysburg, Christopher (Michelle) Murillo of Medina, OH Brother: Ramon Villarreal of Edinburg, Texas She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Preceded in death by sons; John and Paul Murillo, a daughter Robin Murillo, sisters; Helen Luna and Dora Reyna, brothers Apolonio Villarreal and Andy Villarreal. Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, Oh. at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21st, . Visitation is Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 11-1 p.m. at Lawson-Roessner.
