Phyllis  Duncan, 65, of Defiance passed away on  June 17, 2019 at the CHP Defiance Area Hospice Inpatient Center, Defiance, Ohio. She was born on August 9, 1953 to Louis and Naomi (Smith) Smith in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  On April 6, 1991 she married Chuck Duncan who survives in Defiance.  Phyllis was a homemaker and worked a number of jobs over the years including nine years at the McDonald's drive thru.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending church. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Chuck; son, Joseph Johnson of Defiance, Ohio; step daughter, Tyeliah (Tyler) Duncan of Alpharetta, Georgia.  She also leaves behind five grandchildren; Kelly, Christian, Rogan, Duncan, and Keima, as well as two brothers, and five sisters. She was preceded in death by parents; son, Jeremy Johnson and step daughter, Serena Duncan.

Per the family's request,there will be no visitation or services.
