Phillip "Phil" E. Brown, 62, of Defiance, passed away on  Friday, November 20, 2015 at The Toledo Hospital, Toledo, OH. He was born on March 26, 1953 to Emanuel and Thelma (Marshall) Brown in Defiance, OH. Phil worked as a Pressman for Hilltop Printing , was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, and enjoyed bowling and golf. He is survived by his sister, Diana (Randy) Groll of Holgate, OH, brother, Rex Brown of Defiance, OH, 2 Nieces, 1 Nephew. Phil was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held Friday, November 27, 2015, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015, 10:00 am at the funeral home, Pastor Timothy G Reynolds, officiating. Burial will take place in the Riverview Memory Gardens. Memorials are suggested to the church or Donor's Choice.
