Penellopie Faye (Wheeler) Wittig, 48, of Defiance, passed away on  September 16, 2015 at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo. She was born on November 19, 1966 to Bruce and Lynda (Mullins) Nail in Corpus Christi, TX. Penellopie worked as a home maker, enjoyed cooking, singing & dancing and volunteered at the Defiance Path Center. On February 2, 2012  she married Ronald Wittig. Penellopie is survived by her loving spouse Ronald Wittig of Defiance, OH, brother, Roger "Bucky" (Sara) Wheeler, Sr. of Defiance, sisters, Summer (Maxwell) Heard of Nordheim, TX, Leesha (David) Creech of Southlake, TX, and Caroline (Bryan Watrous) Burdulis of Austin, TX, Step Father, Robert Laguarta of Port O'Connor, TX and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by father, Bruce Nail, mother, Lynda Mullins, Step Father, Roger Carvel Wheeler. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Texas.
