Obituary

Pauline Hetz Pauline Hetz, 85, of Defiance, died at 7:20 A:M , Sunday, November 29th, 2009 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born in Marietta, Ohio on April 2, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Louise (Burkhart) Huck. She married Frank Vetter in 1961 who died in 1977. She married Joseph Hetz in 1983 and he survives. Pauline had worked as the Defiance County Extension Agent . She was also a home economics teacher, educator and Defiance County 4-H advisor. Pauline graduated from Marietta High School and received her B.A. from Ohio University. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church Besides her husband surviving are step daughters: Nancy (Lee) Mack of Defiance, Sally (Greg) Newton of Mesa, Az., Colleen Bowling of Defiance, Dorothea (Gary) Hammon of Defiance. Two brothers: Francis (Joan) Huck of Marietta and Louis (Betty Jane) Huck of Marietta. brother in law: Paul Klinger. 11 step grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Mary Katherine Poytner and Regina Klinger and a step daughter Linda Hetz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. John Catholic Church, Defiance, at 11:00 A:M on Wednesday, December 2nd. Friends are invited to call Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 P:M at LAWSON-ROESSNER Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, Ohio 43512.
