Paula Louise Page

Paula Louise Page, age 68 of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born in Defiance, Ohio on June 25, 1957 to the late John Wesley and Ilene (Snodgrass) Spacht. Paula was a talented Interior Designer and worked for Three Rivers Business Interiors in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, quilting, reading, and listening to music. Paula will be greatly missed by her family, and many good friends and colleagues.

Paula is survived by her loving daughter, Cori Ludemann of Urbana, IL, and was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother, Tom Spacht of Pioneer, OH, and her sister, Catherine (Mike) Davis of Defiance.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Smith, and brother, Mark B. Spacht.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Palczewski officiating.
