Paul S. Ullinskey, 93, of Defiance, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at The Laurels of Defiance. He was born on June 26, 1929 to John and Helen (Zima) Ullinskey in Cleveland, Ohio. On September 7, 1975 he married Joan (Mohr) Ullinskey who preceded him on February 20, 2022. Paul served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1950. Paul retired from the United Telephone Company and from Johns Manville. He attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Defiance. Paul is survived by his children; Debra (Jack) Starr and Frank (Linda) Lloyd, his grandchildren; Brian and Chad Emerling, Amanda Clellen, Jack Starr, Tom and Justin Yant, Teresa Edmonds and Diane Lloyd.  He also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, and his sister, Tillie Dutkofski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his wife, Joan, seven sisters, three brothers, and his daughter, Becky Emerling. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance, with Deacon Jeff Mayer officiating.
