Paul E. Bays, 44, of Defiance, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Mercy Hospital of Defiance. He was born on September 20, 1970 to Estil and Linda (Walker) Bays in Lima, Ohio. Paul played the guitar and drums, and enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends. Paul is survived by his sister, Regina Bays of Defiance, daughters, Mirissa Scott of Paulding, Jessica Ann Powell and Samantha Lane, both of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, grandmother, Ruby Truly, one grandson, girlfriend, Betty Huston, nieces, Bonnie Newsome, Rachel Newsome, Carrie Armstrong, and Erica Brown, nephews, Paul Lytle and Richie Newsome. He was preceded in death by his parents, Estil and Linda Bays, brother, Charles Bays, sister, Debbie Jean Bays, and step father, Jim Lytle. A Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Bethel Christian Church in Arthur, Ohio, with Pastor Chris Baker, officiating.
