Patty Ann Linebrink, 88, of Defiance, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2026 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born on August 31, 1938 to the late Loren and Bernice (Franz) Thieroff in Defiance, Ohio. She was a 1956 graduate of Defiance High School. On February 22, 1958, she married Jerry Fisher, who preceded her on January 4, 1969. Patty later found companionship with Richard Linebrink who she married on June 2, 1984; he preceded her on May 28, 1998.

Patty had a passion of helping and taking care of people through her work as a cosmetologist, LPN, and masseuse. She was a social butterfly and would help anyone in need. For many years, Patty and Jerry owned and operated Franz Fruit Market. She loved performing as a professional clown, known around the area as "Fruit Cake." Patty's greatest joy of her life were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Patty is survived by her children, Michael (Mandy) Fisher, Mark (Amy) Fisher, Doug Fisher, David Fisher, Dawn (Brian) Grant and Jennifer (Michael) Stewart; 11 grandchildren, Chase, Nick, Ryan, Jessica, Matthew, Justin, Jerri, James, Francesca, Sarah, and Jacob; 18 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way; special companion, Frank Sanders; lifelong friend, Barb Call; and special family members, Tami Fisher and Patti Richards.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Fisher; second husband, Richard Linebrink; and brother, Keith Thieroff.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 2:00pm - 8:00pm at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 11:00am at the funeral home, with Celebrant Deb Miller officiating. Patty will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
