Patty J. Flory, 74, of Jewell passed away Wednesday September3, 2014 at her home. Patty was born August 30, 1940 in Defiance to Paul and Helen (Bleaks) Kimberly. On September 11, 1999 she married Terry Flory and he survives.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Stryker and attended Cornerstone Community Church , Monticello, IN. Patty was a homemaker and volunteered at the Defiance Senior Center. She also enjoyed decorating cakes and gift wrapping at the mall. Patty wintered in Florida and was a huge Elvis and Mickey Mouse fan.

Also surviving her are children Kimberly J. (Julian) Herrera of Monticello, IN, and Daniel F. (Robin) Kuhn of Colorado, 6 grandchildren, and I great grandchild, sisters Jackie Zachrich of Ft. Wayne, JoAnn (Phillip) Ehrman of Oakwood, and two brothers Tom Kimberly of Texas, and Paul (Denise) Kimberly, Jr. of Defiance

Preceding her in death were her parents, son John L. Kuhn, and brother David Kimberly.

Memorial services will be held at 11 am Saturday September 6, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church, Stryker with Pastor Jeffrey Corder officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday September 5, 2014 at the Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
