Patsy Ann Rittenhouse, 77, of Defiance, passed away on  August 11, 2012 at the Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born on December 25, 1934 to Karl and  Mary (Stitsel) in Defiance, OH. She graduated from Defiance High School in 1952. On March 22, 1953 she married William "Bill" Rittenhouse in their home in Defiance, Ohio.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, William "Bill", son, Scott (Wanda) Rittenhouse of Defiance, son, Brian (Cindy) Rittenhouse of Fort Wayne, IN, daughter, Linda (Mark) Florence of Defiance, daughter, Tammy (Ray) Jimenez of Defiance, daughter, Dawn (Mark) Hall of Defiance, 23 Grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, a niece, Cindy (Luis) Riveria, and her beloved Jack Russell Mix, Brownie.

She was preceded in death by father, Karl Bosdech, brother, Karl "Jack" Rittenhouse Jr., nephew, Karl "Eddie" Rittenhouse III.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-8 pm at Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday 15th, at the funeral home, with Pastor Tim Tracy, officiating.

Burial will take place at Riverview Memory Gardens following the services. Memorials are suggested to Hospice, or the Kidney Foundation.
