Patrick "Mike" Brown, 54, of Oakwood, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at his home in Oakwood, Ohio. He was born on December 9, 1964 to Darwin and Carol (Bussing) Brown in Paulding, Ohio. Mike was a 1983 graduate of Paulding High School. He worked as an administrative assistant at NW Ohio Community Action in Defiance. Mike was a member of the Defiance Eagles #372 and AMVETS #1991. He loved his dogs, enjoyed golfing, and he was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Mike will be sadly missed by his family and many good friends. Mike is survived by his mother, Carol Brown of Oakwood, son, Joshua Brown of  Oakwood, daughter Jerica (Shawn Coffman) Brown of Steubenville, Ohio,  brothers, Darwin "Butch" (Dedra) Brown of Huntertown, IN, and Robert "Huck" (Cyndi) Brown of Continental, his special friend, Sarah Switzer of Defiance, and her children, Zachary, Aaron, and Ashley Helland. He was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Lee Brown. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, March 18, 2019 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance.
