Patricia Gail Nafziger, age 72 of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Sprague, West Virginia on July 3, 1953 to the late Homer and Hilda (Whaling) Bailey. In 1985 Patricia proudly earned her Associate's degree from Northwest State Community College.

1Patricia went to church at Dad's Place. She loved music, played guitar, and sang professionally for several years. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time outdoors, and swimming. Patricia owned her own fly fishing business from 2000-2005 and loved making the flies. She treasured her time spent with family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her sisters, Sue (Dan) Westrick and Kaye (Randy) Lee, her son, Louis (Robynn) Nafziger of California, her daughters, Linda Mayer of Defiance and Lori (Troy) Blair of Georgia, five grandchildren; Joseph Mayer, Trevor Blair, Azory Mayer, Tyler Blair, and Tori Blair, and three great-grandchildren, Mia Mayer, Mason Blair, and Ashur Blair.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Katherine Floyd, Dickie Graham, Kenneth Graham, Franklin Graham, and Jean Kunaschk,  and granddaughter Noa Mayer.

Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements.
