Pamela Kaye Tressler, age 64 of Defiance, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Mercy Defiance Hospital. She was born on December 27, 1956 to Allan  and Lois (Fast) Baker in Celina, Ohio. Pam was a 1975 graduate of Ayersville High School. On February 25, 1998 she married Bruce Tressler, who survives. Pam was a loving and caring wife and mother. She enjoyed crossword books, and she loved her dogs-Scout and Roscoe. Pamela will be sadly missed by her husband of 23 years, Bruce Tressler of Defiance, her mother, Lois Baker of Defiance, two sons, Josh Richards and Jason Richards, her siblings; Christopher Baker and Debra Hood, both of California, Teresa Steingass of Michigan, and Linda Clemens of Toledo, OH, and her brothers-in-law, Doug (Regina Bidlack) Tressler and Tom Tressler, all of Defiance. She was preceded in death by her father, Allan Baker, and brothers Timothy, Jeff, and Michael Baker. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Celebrant Deb Miller officiating. Due to CDC guidelines, if you are not fully vaccinated a mask is required to enter the funeral home, and our lounge area will remain closed. Burial will take place at Myers Cemetery.
