Ouida L. Johnson, 63, of Defiance, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Promedica Defiance Regional Hospital.

She was born on July 29, 1954 to Lewis and Ann (Wiggins) Johnson in Saginaw, Michigan. Ouida was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. She worked for several years as a bus driver for the Saginaw Public School District, and had retired.  She recently worked part-time for Clean and Bright Carpet Care. Ouida enjoyed going to the casinos, playing Bingo, and traveling with her family. She loved her grandchildren dearly and she loved to attend their events. Ouida had a host of friends and she enjoyed spending time with them.

Ouida will be greatly missed by her son, Dontarrie "Donny" Johnson, Sr. of Defiance, 4 grandchildren; Natasha Johnson, Donita Johnson, Donny Johnson, Jr., and Malik Johnson, all of Defiance, one great-grandchild on the way, brothers, Ricky (Doloris) Johnson and Randy (Elanor) Johnson, all of Saginaw, niece/sister, Tyiesha Johnson, and her special friend, Timothy Wade.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, William Johnson, and brothers, Clarence, Tyrone, and Tony Johnson.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Friday, November 10, 2017 at  Galilee Baptist Church in Defiance. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm on Friday at the church, with Pastor Ray Gaffney officiating.
