Norman E. Bibler
Norman E. Bibler, 83, of Defiance, passed away Saturday, April 7th, 2012 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born in Arlington, Ohio on March 1, 1929, he was the son of the late Harold and Dolores (Feller) Bibler.
He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Norm married Barbara (Kammeyer) on July 18, 1970 and she survives.
He worked as a tow truck driver in the shipping dept. at GM Central Foundry. He retired in 1994 with over 25 years of service. He had also worked at Johns Manville, Jimmy Truck, and as a farmer. In his spare time he loved to work on cars.
Norm will be sadly missed by his loving wife Barbara,
daughters: Dixie Hayes of Rochester, Ind., Vickie (Wayne) Swary of Ney, Theresa (Craig) Swary of Michigan, Dorotha Hughes of Antwerp.
Son: Billy Bibler of Sherwood.
Step children: Connie (Sam) McDaniel of Celina, Steve Coleman of Marengo, Oh., Dan Coleman of Phoenix, AZ., Terry (Sean) Woods of Defiance.
sisters: Lulla Browneller of Deshler, Susie Crates of Carey,
brothers: Gerald Bibler of McComb, Larry Bibler of Chadwick, Illinois.
Norman is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a daughter; Judy Fleming, a brother Delbert Bibler, and a great grandchild.
Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 11th.
Visitation is 9-11 Wednesday before services at Lawson-Roessner.
Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens.
