Norma A. Musselman, 90, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Twin Rivers Care and Rehabilitation Center in Defiance, Ohio.

She was born on July 6, 1924 to Walter L.and Alma  B. (Schatz) Duerk in Defiance, Ohio. On June 27, 1948 she married Rex R. Musselman, who preceded her in death in 2013. Norma was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance. Norma and her husband enjoyed 23 years of retirement at their lake home in Indiana. She enjoyed family gatherings, good food, and conversation.

Norma is survived by her son, Rex A. Musselman of Ann Arbor, Michigan, daughter, Mary (Douglas) Doblinger of Archbold, Ohio, and brother, Lowell Duerk of Wadsworth, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Alma Duerk, husband, Rex Musselman, and brother, Walter Duerk.

Visitation will be held from noon to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio. A Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Joshua Schmidt, officiating. Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be directed to St. John Lutheran Church of Defiance, or to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
