Nicole M. Roughton, age 64 of Defiance, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at Brookview Healthcare Center in Defiance, Ohio, following an extended illness.

She was born in Defiance on November 18, 1961 to the late Ronald and Faye (Wolf) Ehrman. Nicole was a 1980 graduate of Ayersville High School. She gracefully navigated through several health setbacks for many years.

Nicole is survived by her brother, Rodney Ehrman of Columbus, Ohio, and several cousins, including Becky, Tina, and Robin. She was preceded in death by her parents, and special aunt and uncle, Phil and JoAnn Ehrman.

There will be no services at this time. Nicole will be laid to rest in Sherman Cemetery.
