Nancy Vasquez, age 45 of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at UH Parma Medical Center in Parma, Ohio. She was born on August 1, 1978 to Manuel and Ada Perez-Vasquez in Defiance, Ohio. On February 28, 2015 she married Luis Lozada-Nieves, who resides in Cleveland, Ohio. Nancy was the most caring person. She was very active in her children's school activities and always helped families in need with financial donations. She enjoyed crafting and the Defiance High School Marching band. She was an avid fan of Defiance High School sports and all Cleveland teams. Nancy treasured her time spent with her children. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Nancy is survived by her husband, Luis Lozada-Nieves, her parents, Manuel Vasquez and Ada Perez-Vasquez, and her children, Navier Lozada-Vasquez and Adamarie Burford-Vasquez, both of Cleveland. She also leaves behind her siblings; Diana (Axel) Rosa, Milagro Vasquez, Manuel Vasquez, Jr. and Daniel Vasquez, four nephews, one niece, and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maximiliano Vasquez, Alejandra Hernandez, Virgillio Perez and Jesusa Perez Rosa, and her niece and goddaughter, Kailani Rosa Vasquez. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. Memorials can be directed to her children, c/o Luis Lozada-Nieves.
