Nancy A Eitniear, 77,  of Defiance, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Mercy Hospital of Defiance.

She was born April 30, 1935, and was the daughter of Galen and Florence (Lantz) Brewer.

On November 20, 1953 she married James Eitniear and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2003.

Nancy is survived by three daughters; Kathy (Sidney) Weber of Delphos, Ohio, Cindy (Wayne) Newman of Defiance, Becky (James) Bidlack of Greenwood, SC, 10 Grandchildren; Corey (Marie) Weber, Zachary Weber, Adam (Melissa) Weber, Ian (Kristen) Weber, Lindsay, Lance and Brent Newman, Holly Zipfel, Danielle (Brad) Fitzmorris, Sara (Scott) Aiken, 9 Great Grandchildren and one expected, a brother Terry (Bonnie) Brewer of Defiance, two sisters Linda Varner of Defiance, Susan (John) Keeler of Paulding and a special friend Don Hull of Defiance.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, a daughter Connie Jo Eitniear and a brother Larry Brewer,

Nancy was a devoted mom and grandma. She worked at JCPenney and in the pharmacy at the former Defiance hospital. Nancy had been a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Calling hours will be Friday, December 28, 2012 from 2 to 8 at the Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance.

Funeral service will be in the funeral home on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:00am with Rev. Joe Graves  officiating.

Burial will follow in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance.
