Nance L. Zimmerman Nance L. Zimmerman, 78, of Defiance, passed away Monday, October 8th, 2012 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born in Defiance on February 24, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Margaret (Keller) Killion. Nance married John Zimmerman on Feb. 23, 1974 and he survives. She was a lifetime member of St. John Catholic Church, a member of the rosary and altar society and the Trees of Life P. Buckley Moss Society. She enjoyed crafting, painting and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She had worked as a secretary at Defiance Precision Products for 44 years. Besides her loving husband John of 38 years, surviving is a sister: Lucille Kretz of Perrysburg, Oh. Preceded in death by a brother Eugene Killion and a sister D'Nelle Shingledecker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 11th, with Father Todd Dominique officiating. Friends are invited to call Thursday 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
