Mindy Jo Rose, 19, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the Toledo Children's Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on August 20, 1996 to Earl and Cathy (Mansfield) Rose in Defiance. Mindy will be sadly missed by her parents, Earl and Cathy Rose of Defiance, brother Shane Rose of Defiance, sisters Kristy (Brian) McCafferty of Warren, Ohio, and Jamie (Paul) Armstrong of South Carolina, grandmothers Ellen Rose of Defiance, and Virginia Rose of Jonesville, Michigan, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and brother Zachary Rose. Visitation will be held from  9:30 to 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with expenses.
