Mildred M Michoff, 91, of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the Laurels of Defiance.

She was born on October 17, 1921 to Carey and Effie (Kirkendall) Allgire in Defiance. On May 5, 1943 she married Steve Michoff and he preceded her in death on December 26, 2012.

Mildred was a member of Defiance Church of the Nazarene. She graduated from Tiffin High School.  She worked in the office at the Ney Lumber Company.  She loved Southern Gospel music and going to concerts.  .

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Marcia Michoff of Defiance, gandchildren, Adam Woods of Ypsilanti, MI and Erica Woods of Defiance.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Debra Woods, brothers, Cecil, Emerson, Claude & LeRoy Allgire and  a sister, Marjorie Allgire.

Funeral service for Mildred will be Friday, July 19, 2013 at 12 noon at the Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance with Rev. Carol Retcher officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday one hour prior to the funeral starting at 11:00 am.

Entombment will follow in Riverview Memory Gardens.
