Michael J. (Mike) Porter Michael J. (Mike) Porter, 55, of Okolona, OH passed away suddenly Thursday, December 31st, 2015. He was born in Defiance, Ohio on February 20, 1960, he was the son of Edburt and Sue (McGue) Porter. He was a self employed plumber and electrician. Mike had a great love for nature - fishing, hunting, trapping, arrow head hunting, mushroom gathering and spending time with his faithful dog Jack. He leaves behind his parents Ed and Sue Porter of Defiance, daughter: Michelle (Gary Logan) Porter of Melrose, OH son: Mitchell Porter of Oakwood, OH siblings: Ken (Sandy) Porter of Ayersville,OH Teresa (Kirk) Roughton of Oakwood, OH Charlie Porter of Defiance, OH and Joe Porter of Defiance, OH and a grandchild Layla Logan. Services will be at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 8th, with Adam Metz, minister of the gospel, officiating. Visitation is Thursday 2 - 8 p.m. at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, OH .
