Michael F. "Mike" Foy, Jr., age 49 of Celina, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at St. Rita's Mercy Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. He was born on October 19, 1974 to Michael and Lillian (Emanuel) Foy in Newark, New Jersey. Mike was a 1993 graduate of Pinelands High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1994 to 1995. He worked at Progressive Stamping in Ottoville for twenty years, and at Crown in Celina for the last five years. Mike was an avid weight-lifter and was a member of several gyms. He enjoyed eating and was a huge fan of NASCAR. Mike absolutely loved spending time with his grandchildren. Mike is survived by his mother, Lillian Foy of Clearwater, FL, his sons, Brenden (Kelsey Slattman) Foy of Defiance, and Derek Foy of Celina, OH, his daughter, Kennadi (Dallas) Keck of Iowa, his sisters, Adrian Foy and Kelly Foy of New Jersey, and grandsons, Tatum Foy of Defiance and Theo Keck of Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael F. Foy, Sr. A private Graveside Service will be held at Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Schaffer Funeral Home was honored to assist the family with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to AmVets #1991 in Defiance.
