Michael T. Chaney Michael T. Chaney, 57, of Defiance, died Saturday, October 31st, 2009 at from an auto accident in Defiance. Mike was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 2, 1952, he was the son of the late Bud and Patricia (Yost) Chaney. He graduated from Defiance College and was employed at GM Powertrain for over thirty years before retiring in 2008. He was a member of the Defiance Eagles and VFW. Surviving are two daughters: Michelle Chaney of Round Rock, Texas and Angie Chaney of Defiance. Two Brothers: Bill Chaney of Houston, Texas and Gary Chaney of Lawrenceburg. Ind. Grandchildren Jocelyn and Jacob Chaney. His former wife of thirty years Sylvia Chaney of Defiance. Preceded in death by his parents. Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home, 1753 S. Clinton St. Defiance, at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, November 5th. Friends are invited to call Wednesday 7-9 night and Thursday 10-12 at Lawson-Roessner. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
