Merinda S. Sills Merinda S. Sills, 47, of Fremont, passed away Thursday, February 20th, 2014 at Fremont Memorial Hospital. She was born in Ann Arbor, on July 9, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Jerry Sills and SuzAnne (Sykes) Maddio who survives her of Stockbridge, MI. Merinda will be missed by her mother SuzAnne Maddio, formerly of Defiance and now of Stockbridge, MI. her daughters; Carolyn Hurst of Defiance, and Kathryn Ogan of Sanford, NC., a son Kyle Hurst of Ypsilenti, MI. a brother Jerry (Agnes) Sills of Stockbridge, MI and special friend Gilbert Perez of Fremont. Religious Service at Second Baptist Church 1945 E. Second St. Defiance. at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25th, with Rev. Max Begley officiating. Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 24, at 2nd Baptist Church from 2-8. Suggested donations are to the family. The Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home is entrusted with her arrangements.
