Max M. Kerr Max M. Kerr, 53, of Defiance, Oh. passed away Wednesday, March 17th, 2010 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Tallahassee, Fl. He was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on April 4, 1956, he was the son of the late Richard and Gertrude (Memmer) Kerr. Max worked as a sales representative for Pfizer Pharmaceutical. He was the Park-Davis National Sales Representative of the Year for three years from 1981 to 1983. He was a former resident of Redding, Ca. He was raised in Defiance and graduated from Angola High School. Max attended Purdue for two years and graduated from Indiana University where he was a two year national Merit Scholar. He continued work on his masters at Colorado State University and the University of Arizona. Max was the husband of Connie S. (Groll) Kerr. Also surviving are two daughters: Elise Kerr of Defiance and Arielle Kerr of Arizona son: Max J. Kerr of Arizona two brothers: Phil (Connie) Kerr and Jon (Judy) Kerr of Redding, Ca. He is also survived by two grandsons; Brayden Kerr and Shaun Sharp Jr. whom he loved very much. Preceded in death by a sister Deborah Bice and his parents. Services at Restoration Tabernacle 9118 Christy Rd. Defiance, at 11:00 A:M on Saturday, March 27th,, Officating will be Rev. Burnell Hammons. Friends are invited to call Friday 2-8 at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home and Saturday 10-11 at Restoration Tabernacle. Burial will be in Riverview Memory Gardens.
