Mary Lou Corwin Mary Lou Corwin, 83, of Defiance, passed away Tuesday, April 26th, 2011 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. She was born in Defiance, on March 1, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Alva and Louise (Bauman) Hohenberger. She was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church On Nov. 17, 1951, she married Clarence Corwin, who died March 17, 1978 Mary Lou was the bookkeeper and co-owner of the family business Corwin TV and Appliances. Surviving are four sons: Steven Corwin of Defiance, Dan (Deborah) Corwin of Woodburn, Ind., Richard Corwin of Defiance, Craig Corwin of Defiance. a sister: Eileen Gladhill of Sarasota, Fl. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. Preceded in death by a son Jeffery, brothers: Eno Hohenberger, Lawrence Hohenberger, sisters: Mildred Emmel, Edna Hohenberger, Lucy Hall and her husband Clarence. Services at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30th, with Rev. Joshua Schmidt officiating. Friends are invited to call Friday 4-8 and Saturday 10-11 at Lawson-Roessner.
