Mary Mae Haley, 87, of Defiance, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at CHP Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance.

She was born on July 17, 1929 to David and Frances (Cole) Kent in Elco, Pennsylvania.  On September 14, 1948 she married Robert L. Haley, who preceded her in death on May 25, 2007.

Mary will be sadly missed by her children; George Czapp, Robert L. Haley, Jr., Rosemary Evans, Dan Haley, Sr., Randolph Haley, Sr., and Daniel Haley, Jr., and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert L. Haley, Sr.,  and sisters, Dolly, Ruth Ann, and Gertrude.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at Schaffer Funeral Home, with Pastor Timothy Reynolds officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
