Mary Marcelina Flores, age 62 of Defiance, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on August 17, 1959 to Joseph and Irene (Cruz) Flores in Saginaw, Michigan. Mary was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved life and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and being outdoors. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Mary will be sadly missed by her sons, Thomas (Melissa) Stahl of Bay City, MI, Nicholas (Deborah) Alvarado of Gallatin, TN, Antonio Alvarado of Hendersonville, TN, her significant other, Thomas Alvarado of Defiance, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, her brothers, Tony (Sheila) Flores and Carl (Marcia) Flores, all of Shelby Township, OH, Abraham Flores of Bay City, MI, and her sister, Renee (Kevin) Kilgore of Ney, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Carl Stahl, and grandson, Chandler Washington. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
