Mark B. Spacht II, 57, of Defiance, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016 at Twin Rivers Rehabilitation Center in Defiance. He was born on November 15, 1958 to John and Ilene (Snodgrass) Spacht in Defiance. Mark served our country in the U.S. Army in Germany for many years. He owned and operated a shrimp boat in Florida.. Mark is survived by his sisters, Catherine (Mike) Davis of Defiance, and Paula Page of Ft. Wayne, Indiana,  brother, Thomas Spacht of Pioneer, Ohio, 5 nieces & 1 nephew, and 8 great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and niece, Stacy Bochk-Smith. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Timothy Reynolds officiating.  Military Honors will be accorded at Riverview Memory Gardens by members of the Defiance VFW Post 3360. Memorials are suggested to the Veterans Administration.
